General Conditions

Artist Alley is a venue for artists to sell and display their work. It is not meant as a replacement for the Dealers Room, and if you are selling retail items, you should inquire with the Dealers Room Coordinator. Spots in the Artist Alley are made available on a first-come, first-served basis. Artists may only reserve one table. If we run out of openings, the Artist Alley coordinator will arrange for a waiting list.

MangaNEXT is a family-friendly convention, and there will be minors present at the event. We ask that all artists with adult merchandise to keep this in mind when displaying artwork. The Artist Alley Coordinator may ask you to rearrange your display. Failure to complay may result in removal from Artist Alley without refund.

In addition, artists under 18 years of age must attend with a registered adult. The name of this adult must be specified in the appropriate field in the on-line registration form.

Allowed Items

1. Any products featuring your own creations
2. Commissioned and hand-drawn works
3. Unique, individual, hand-made items
4. Doujinshi, fanzines, and similar items

Disallowed Items

1. Bootleg merchandise (for example, SM CDs)
2. Food, snacks or beverages
3. All wearable creations (ie. shirts and hats and accessories) and all plushies cannot recreate copyrighted materials (ie items like Naruto headbands or Fruits Basket hats)

Hours of Operation

The official hours of the Artist Alley are listed above. Artists may choose to remain at the table for as long as they wish within these hours. Artists shall be responsible for all items within their space during the hours of operation. When the Artist Alley closes, MangaNEXT will provide for overnight security, but keep in mind that MangaNEXT is not responsible for losses due to theft, damage, fire or other causes.
